Practical stories about Stewardship with Alejandro Ruiz and Koren Ruiz

This is a very moving and unique podcast where Koren Ruiz, President and Founder of Stewards of God, joins in a conversation with his father Alejandro, who shares numerous personal stories from his life illustrating significant elements of the concept of Christian Stewardship.  Mr. Alejandro Ruiz currently resides in Sinaloa Mexico, where he has worked in education as a professor, principal, and superintendent for elementary schools for almost 40 years.  Join father and son in this all-Spanish podcast that allows us to understand how we can be better stewards of God's gifts with a series of practical real-life stories.

Introducing the Concept of Christian Stewardship to the Latino Community

This is first original Spanish-language podcast of a series of five entitled “Introducing the Concept of Christian Stewardship to the Latino Community”. This podcast features a conversational interview with Stewards of God President and Founder Koren Ruiz. The podcast begins with a general definition of Stewardship – the idea that God is the creator and the giver of all things, where the stewards have the opportunity to manage and to share those gifts according to what God wants to do in their lives – and then it moves into an engaging discussion about different ways the Latino community can begin to understand this relatively new concept as a way of life.

A Good Steward Receives God's Gifts Gratefully

“A Good Steward Receives God’s Gifts Gratefully” is the second of our five-part Spanish-language podcast series introducing the concept of Christian Stewardship to the Latino community. The podcast again features a conversational interview with Stewards of God President and Founder Koren Ruiz, and begins by discussing an exercise called “Inventory of Gratitude” – creating a list of the many ways in which God has blessed each of us in various areas of our lives. Recognizing how God has been generous in our lives will help us to develop an attitude of gratitude, which is a critical step in becoming a better steward of God’s gifts.

A Good Steward Shares God's Gifts in Love and Justice

A Good Steward Shares God’s Gifts in Love and Justice” is the fourth of our five-part Spanish-language podcast series introducing the concept of Christian Stewardship to the Latino community. In this podcast, Stewards of God President and Founder Koren Ruiz explains that there is more to sharing God’s gifts than just giving generously. We must first learn how to share, rather than simply giving more of our time, talent and treasure.

A Good Steward Returns God's Gifts with Increase

“A Good Steward Returns God’s Gifts with Increase” is the last in our five-part Spanish-language podcast series introducing the concept of Christian Stewardship to the Latino community. In this podcast, Stewards of God President and Founder  Koren Ruiz gives an overview of the first four podcasts in the series, and explains that having simply good intentions to do God’s will in our life is not enough. There are many obstacles that can keep us from being faithful and true disciples of God, and until we have a solid commitment, we will not be able to become the stewards that God wants us to be.
