Offertory Enhancement Initiatives (Planned Giving)
Capital Stewardship Campaigns
Corresponsables de Dios - Stewards of God is an organization committed with the idea of implementing programs and services to create an environment conducive to lasting solutions in the areas of stewardship, and planned giving focused mainly on the Latino community in the Catholic Church.
We possess over 20 years of combined experience working in Latino ministries, and are committed to provide authentic bilingual/bi-cultural services.
The Offertory Enhancement Initiative is the combination of a Stewardship Education Program with a Leadership Training Process to implement a stewardship initiative that educates leaders on the concept of stewardship as a way of life. It enhances offertory, and increases the number of envelope users among the members of the Latino community by implementing culturally based planned giving strategies.
This Stewardship Enhancement Initiative is designed for individual parishes with high Latino populations that seek a deeper understanding and commitment in terms of stewardship from their members, as well as higher participation in their planned giving programs on a yearly basis.
The process of a capital campaign that we offer to parishes includes materials, stewardship education, significant consultant presence, and leadership training to not only raise the necessary funds, but to unify and strengthen the leadership of the parish. This process promotes a better understanding of stewardship and a deeper commitment in the parish leadership.
Although Capital Campaigns are many times an essential endeavor that allows parishes and/or Dioceses to work on additional capital projects beyond what they are doing with the current budget, it has the power to transform the attitude and views of the Latino community in a parish, when they become actively involved.
Stewardship Education Programs
The Stewardship Education program we offer consists of six monthly sessions of a comprehensive formation program for all ministry members, specifically designed for the culture of the Latino community. The methodology is based mostly in the Pastoral Letter by the Bishops of the United States written in 1992, with significant adaptations of stories, exercises, and practical recommendations to fit the
This program is ideal for individual parishes and for Dioceses/Archdioceses that value the importance of planting the seed of stewardship in the Latino community as a way of life, in order to create a more sustainable church in the future.
